This
cartoon was drawn for a forum member who was questioning why he had so
many friends! He’s getting carried away by his fame…literally!
I have written a children’s book review for ‘The Cat in the Hat‘ by Dr
Seuss. Here is the image I drew to accompany the review.
Ihave
recently been accepted as a children’s book reviewer by top ranking
children’s book site Best Children’s Books. My first review is on a
book I read and loved as a child called The Borribles. I drew a picture
of how I imagine a Borrible to look as seen here. Please follow the
links to read my reviews.
As the assisted suicide debate rages on Martin Amis sticks his size 10
in it by saying: “They’ll be a population of demented very old people,
like an invasion of terrible immigrants, stinking out the restaurants
and cafes and shops,” he said. “I can imagine a sort of civil war
between the old and the young.
Love is more than giving a bunch of flowers, so I’ve decided to create
a crude yet true reflection of what love is! Enjoy my ‘love is’
cartoons. How do you think love is demonstrated in 2010?
I drew this crowd cartoon as you never know when you’ll need a good
crowd cartoon. For example if you have a special offer that you want
people to buy now so they ‘beat the rush’ you can add a sign post re
your offer to the picture. This crowd cartoon (and the altered one
below)
Here we have a range of today’s fashions: Emo Chav c School-run-mum Hip
Chic (I’m the hip chic by the way ) Here’s the chav again this time
with her equally chavvy pooch! Here’s a school-run-mum pic All pictures
were hand-drawn using fibre and brush tip pens.
The British love a good queue! This Cartoon of a Queue is free for you
to use as long as you credit me Leah Gray as the artist and link the
cartoon to my blog site http://www.cartoonsbyleah.com (active link).
Thank you!
I’ve
been asked to illustrate some short stories for a book. Children’s
stories for adults type of thing. Here I’ve experimented with
manipulation of the colour via a program I use for cartooning. The
story is quite dark and queer and hence so is the illustration!
